8035H RDP Powder

Flexible

Description

Description

Mikrant 8035H is a hydrophobic dispersible polymer powder tailored for dry mix mortars, ideal for applications such as tile grout, plaster mortar, putty, and more. Composed of a flexible terpolymer of vinyl chloride, ethylene, and vinyl laurate, it endows mortars with a significant hydrophobic effect while maintaining essential adhesion and flexibility.

Properties

Mikrant 8035H is a redispersible polymer powder formulated from a terpolymer of vinyl chloride, ethylene, and vinyl laurate, which can be redispersed when exposed to water, conferring a certain hydrophobic effect.

When mixed with inorganic adhesives, Mikrant 8035H enhances the workability of mortar and improves the bonding strength, flexibility, deformation ability, and abrasion resistance of the hardened mortar.

Thanks to its special composition, Mikrant 8035H imparts a lasting impact on the water absorption and hydrophobicity of the mortars it modifies, without affecting the water vapor permeability at common dosages.

The product contains a fine mineral filler that serves an anti-caking effect, and it is produced without the use of solvents, plasticizers, or film-forming additives.

As a redispersible latex powder with a low Tg value, Mikrant 8035H has a certain hydrophobic effect and does not affect the rheological properties of the mortar. It modifies mortar to have lower viscosity and excellent workability, resulting in higher strength after curing.
